Conservation Projects Overseas

Conversation volunteers are needed globally to help regenerate destroyed habitats, gather scientific data for local environmental studies, and help conserve some of the world’s most endangered animal species.

On environmental conservation projects you could find yourself in some of the most spectacular areas of the world. For example you could be working with the indigenous people of Costa Rica on vital biodiversity work, or helping to preserve the Amazon rainforest in the heart of Ecuador.

We also work with local organizations working to increase indigenous animal populations and rehabilitate those who have been injured sue to forest fires, traffic accidents and the general encroachment of mankind on their habitat. It’s important that note that with our animal conservation projects, it won’t all be hands-on work. You’ll be expected to get involved with the necessary daily tasks that help the project run smoothly.

Whichever placement you choose to join, your time in country will be spent as a vital part in a long-term effort to protect the local environment and animal species.
