Volunteer in Peru
Peru is home of the Incas, one of the major ancient civilisations of the world. While many Australian visitors travel to Peru to walk the well-trodden path to the ruins of Machu Picchu, our volunteer projects will give you the chance to discover a side to Peru that most simply miss.
As a volunteer in Peru, you could be helping to teach local communities English, or improving the lives of some of the most underprivileged children in South America by playing sports, helping with homework or running arts and crafts lessons.
We also need volunteers to help protect Peru’s heritage and environment, whether it be carrying out essential survey work on the coast or participating in an archaeological excavation work in Lima.
Peru is filled with colonial Spanish architecture, and the Quechuan population with their rich cultural heritage will delight your senses. Peru is simply a country that you’ll find difficult to leave.
