Thailand has long been a tourist favourite and it’s easy to see why.
Stunning tropical rainforests, sandy white beaches, world renowned food and welcoming Thai smiles are just some of the many things that keep travellers flocking back to Thailand. Unfortunately most tourists don’t spare a thought for the social or environmental impacts of their visit and really only see the country from the balcony of their 5-star villa.
We work with a number of local projects throughout Thailand to conserve the natural environment and help improve the lives of disadvantaged children and youth. Volunteers can participate in a vital marine research project or help to educate communities on Koh Tao Island about how to preserve their beautiful slice of paradise. Volunteers are also needed to teach English language skills, coach sports, and work with children at risk of being exposed to child labour and the sex trade.
During their free time, volunteers can visit traditional hill tribe villages, shop till they drop in bustling markets or simply chill-out on a remote beach after a hard weeks work. Thailand certainly won’t disappoint!
